  • OURSociety runs in small, live weekly cohorts that meet on a consistent schedule, so members build real visibility, momentum, and clarity without starting over each time. Sessions are led by Hali Jama and Ladan Mowlid and focus on career strategy, professional development, job navigation, and season-of-life conversations. Every other week, members join intentional coffee chats with recruiters, founders, CEOs, career coaches, and industry leaders, offering real hiring insight and immediately usable guidance.

  • OURSociety is for people serious about their growth and ready to engage consistently, especially those navigating early careers, transitions, promotions, graduate school decisions, or shifts into entrepreneurship, the creator economy, or leadership. It’s designed for active participation & not passive consumption. It offers value whether you’re in university or approaching a 10-year career milestone.

  • Your spot is secured once you submit your application and complete payment, provided capacity is still available.

  • Yes. OURSociety is open globally. Some opportunities may be region-specific, and live sessions currently follow US-based time zones, so we encourage international applicants to ensure the schedule aligns with them until an international cohort launches.

  • Yes. OURSociety is intentionally capped to preserve quality, visibility, and meaningful participation. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • We’re not able to guarantee future cohorts at this time. Once current cohorts are full, we will open a waitlist and notify individuals if space becomes available.

  • Membership is billed monthly. You may hold your spot for as long as you remain an active member. If you choose to cancel, your spot will be offered to someone on the waitlist.

  • OURSociety meets live once per week in a consistent cohort. Sessions are designed to be focused and high-impact, typically lasting about one hour.

  • OURSociety operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
    Cohorts are intentionally capped, with up to three weekly groups meeting on Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays.

    Membership is $49.99 per month, billed monthly.

    Once the EmpOUR app launches, this membership will close to new members.

We are built on a simple idea. Careers are not advanced by effort alone. They move through proximity, preparation, and timing. OURSociety is not coaching and it is not casual networking. It is a structured environment designed to build visibility, clarity, and momentum through consistency.

OURSociety exists to shorten the distance between potential and real opportunity by bringing the same people into the same rooms each week, building recognition and context over time.
