We may update, modify, or discontinue certain features at any time without notice.

Digital content and Services are delivered immediately upon account creation or purchase (if applicable).

3. User Responsibilities

By accessing the Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information

• Use the platform only for lawful purposes

• Behave respectfully toward all users

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior

• Follow all community guidelines and EmpOUR instructions

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

4. Mentorship, Matching & Networking Disclaimer

EmpOUR facilitates introductions, matches, and community interactions. However:

• We do not guarantee the quality or compatibility of any mentor, mentee, or match

• We do not guarantee responsiveness, participation, or follow-through from any user

• We do not guarantee mentorship sessions, continued engagement, or communication

• We do not guarantee academic, career, or personal outcomes

• We are not responsible for the behavior, advice, or actions of users

All interactions and relationships formed through EmpOUR occur at your own discretion and risk.

5. No Guarantees

The Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

EmpOUR does not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free access

• Specific results, outcomes, or career progress

• Satisfaction with your match, mentorship experience, or community engagement

• Accuracy or reliability of user-generated content

• Availability of particular mentors, groups, or features

EmpOUR is not liable for dissatisfaction with match results or unmet expectations.

6. User-Generated Content

Users may post messages, profiles, and other content (“User Content”).

By posting content, you:

• Retain ownership of your content

• Grant EmpOUR a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and share your content within the platform

• Agree not to post unlawful, harmful, or infringing materials

EmpOUR may remove or restrict content that violates safety, legal, or community standards.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Impersonate individuals or misrepresent your identity

• Harass, threaten, or harm others

• Post spam, solicitations, or misleading content

• Attempt to interfere with platform functionality or security

• Use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes

• Collect or store personal data about other users without permission

8. Payments & Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or in-app product:

• Payment is processed through Apple or Google’s in-app billing

• Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled

• Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to App Store/Google Play policies

• You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your device settings

EmpOUR does not guarantee results from premium features.

9. Billing Structure

Pricing, billing cycles, and premium feature descriptions will be provided within the app before purchase. We may update pricing with prior notice where required.

10. Delivery of Digital Services

All digital Services and features are delivered immediately once your account is created or once a subscription (if offered) is activated.

11. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms

• You pose a risk to the community

• You misuse the platform

Users may delete their account at any time. EmpOUR is not responsible for retaining or backing up deleted data.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• EmpOUR is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages

• EmpOUR is not responsible for interactions, advice, or behavior of other users

• EmpOUR does not guarantee platform uptime or functionality

• Your use of the Services is at your own risk

You agree to indemnify and hold EmpOUR harmless from any claims arising from your use of the platform.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

EmpOUR owns all branding, technology, designs, written content, software, and platform features. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Services without written permission.

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and Canada.
Any disputes must be resolved under the jurisdiction specified by EmpOUR unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws.

15. Service Limitations

EmpOUR may limit access to parts of the platform for maintenance, updates, legal compliance, or safety reasons. We do not guarantee continuous availability.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Services after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
